Velgam Vehera, also known as Vilgam Vihara, is a very old and beautiful Buddhist temple ruins located in the Trincomalee District of Sri Lanka. Hidden inside a quiet, green jungle area near Periyakulam, this historic site dates back over 2,200 years to the time of King Devanampiya Tissa.
