Ella Rock

Ella Rock is a famous, towering cliff that overlooks the beautiful town of Ella. If you look up from the main street of Ella, you can see this massive rock standing tall against the sky. It is one of the most popular hiking spots in Sri Lanka’s hill country. The journey to the top is like a mini adventure. You walk along old railway tracks, pass through green tea estates, and finally climb through a thick forest to reach the peak. ⚠️ Wear Proper Shoes: The last part of the climb is very steep and can be slippery. Do not wear flip flops!
