Millennium Viewpoint

Millennium Viewpoint is a hidden gem located in the Poonagala Tea Estate within the Badulla District. Sitting at a high altitude of about 1,700 meters (5,500 feet) above sea level. It is one of the highest and most spectacular lookout points in the Uva Province. The viewpoint is famous for its vast, open landscape where you can see for miles in every direction. 🚜 Transport Type: The road is very rough and narrow. It is highly recommended to use a 4WD vehicle or a sturdy motorbike. Standard cars may not be able to handle the terrain.

🚶 On Foot: After reaching the end of the drivable path near Pilkington Point, you will need to hike for about 45 minutes to reach the top of Millennium Viewpoint.

⚠️Wear Proper Shoes: The path can be slippery. Especially after rain, so wear shoes with a good grip.
