Belilena Cave is one of the most famous and largest prehistoric caves in Sri Lanka. It is located near the town of Kitulgala. This cave is very special because it shows us how humans lived thousands of years ago. Scientists found remains of the “Balangoda Man” here, which are about 32,000 years old! The cave is tucked away in a quiet, green forest area, making it a peaceful place to explore. It’s not just a hole in a rock; it’s a giant window into our history.

බෙලිලෙන යනු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පිහිටි ඉතාමත් ප්‍රසිද්ධ මෙන්ම විශාල ප්‍රාග් ඓතිහාසික ගුහාවකි. මෙය කිටුල්ගල නගරයට ආසන්නව පිහිටා ඇත. වසර දහස් ගණනකට පෙර මෙරට ජීවත් වූ මිනිසුන්ගේ තොරතුරු සොයා ගැනීමට මෙම ස්ථානය ඉතා වැදගත් වේ. මෙහිදී වසර 32,000ක් පමණ පැරණි “බලංගොඩ මානවයාගේ” අවශේෂ හමු වී ඇත. ලස්සන වනාන්තරයකින් වට වී ඇති මෙම ගුහාව, අපේ අතීතය ගැන කියා දෙන අපූරු තැනකි.

🚗 ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගය: කොළඹ සිට අවිස්සාවේල්ල-හැටන් පාරේ කිටුල්ගල දෙසට පැමිණිය යුතුය.

📍 ගමනාන්තය: කිටුල්ගල නගරයට පැමිණ එතැන් සිට ඉනෝයා ගම්මානය දෙසට කිලෝමීටර් 8ක් පමණ යා යුතුය.

🚶 පයින් යන දුර: වාහන නවත්වන ස්ථානයේ සිට කිලෝමීටර් 1ක පමණ කුඩා කඳු පාරක් දිගේ ඇවිද යාමෙන් ගුහාව වෙත ළඟා විය හැකිය.
