Crocodile Rock

Crocodile Rock is a famous natural landmark located just south of Arugam Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. It gets its name because the shape of the rock looks exactly like a giant crocodile basking in the sun!

📌How to Get There

🛺 Tuk – tuk: The most common way. Ask a driver in Arugam Bay to take you there (about a 15-minute ride).

🛵 Scooter: Rent a scooter and drive south. You will need to park near the edge of the road and walk across the sand to reach the rock.

🚶 Beach Walk: If you enjoy long walks, you can walk along the shore from Arugam Bay. But it takes about an hour or more.
