Inginiyagala Dam (Senanayake Samudraya)
The Inginiyagala Dam, also known as the Senanayake Samudraya, is the largest man-made lake in Sri Lanka. It was built by putting a dam across the Gal Oya River in the Ampara district. When you stand on the dam, the water looks like a huge blue sea that goes on forever. It is surrounded by big green mountains and is one of the most beautiful places in the eastern part of the country.

☀️ No Swimming: Do not try to swim in the reservoir because the water is very deep and can be dangerous.
☀️ Keep it Clean: Please do not throw plastic or trash into the water or the park area.
