Viharamahadevi Park

Viharamahadevi Park is the biggest and oldest public park in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Located right in the heart of the city (Cinnamon Gardens), it covers about 50 acres of land. It is a massive green space where people come to escape the busy city noise. Originally, it was called Victoria Park after Queen Victoria, but it was later renamed to honor Queen Viharamahadevi, the mother of the famous King Dutugemunu.

🚗 By Car: If you are driving, you can find parking near the Ward Place or Museum side of the park.

🚶 On Foot: If you are staying in Colombo 07 (Cinnamon Gardens), you can easily walk there.
