The Dhowa Rock Temple is a beautiful and ancient Buddhist temple located in the mountains of Sri Lanka, very close to a town called Bandarawela. It is famous for a giant Buddha statue carved directly into a massive rock face. This temple is more than 2,000 years old and is a very peaceful place where history and nature come together.

දෝව රජමහා විහාරය යනු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ බණ්ඩාරවෙල නගරයට ඉතා ආසන්නව පිහිටි ඉතා පැරණි බෞද්ධ පන්සලකි. මෙහි ඇති විශාල ගල් පර්වතයක නෙළා ඇති බුදු පිළිමය නිසා මෙම විහාරය ලෝකය පුරා ප්‍රසිද්ධ වී ඇත. වසර 2,000කට වඩා පැරණි ඉතිහාසයක් ඇති මෙම ස්ථානය, සොබාදහම සහ ඉතිහාසය එකට මුසු වූ ඉතා සාමකාමී ස්ථානයකි.
