Ravana Ella

Ravana Ella (Ravana Falls) is one of the most popular waterfalls in Sri Lanka. It is located very close to the famous town of Ella. It is about 25 meters (82 feet) high and is known for being one of the widest waterfalls in the country. During the rainy season, the water rushes down over the rocks in a powerful way, looking like the petals of a flower. It is a must-see spot if you are visiting the hill country.

🛺 From Ella Town: You can take a tuk-tuk (about a 10-15 minute ride) or catch any bus heading towards Wellawaya. The bus stop is right in front of the waterfall.

📍 From Wellawaya: It is on the way up to Ella, so you can’t miss it.
