Koggala Beach Park is a beautiful, quiet place on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is located near the city of Galle. Unlike other busy beaches, this beach is very long and has plenty of space. It has soft golden sand and clear blue water. You can see tall coconut trees lining the shore. It is a perfect spot if you want to relax and enjoy nature without big crowds.

Reaching Koggala is easy

🚂 By Train: You can take a train from Colombo Fort to the Koggala Railway Station. The ride offers beautiful sea views.

🚌 By Bus: Take a bus heading to Matara or Galle. If you get off at Galle, you can take a tuk-tuk or another bus to Koggala (about 20-30 minutes).

🚗 By Car/Taxi: You can drive down the Southern Expressway or the Galle Road. It takes about 2 to 2.5 hours from Colombo.

කොග්ගල වෙරළ උද්‍යානය කියන්නේ දකුණු පළාතේ ගාල්ල නගරයට ආසන්නව පිහිටි ඉතාම රමණීය සහ නිස්කලංක පරිසරයක් තියෙන තැනක්. ලංකාවේ අනිත් ජනප්‍රිය වෙරළ තීරයන් වගේ විශාල වශයෙන් සෙනඟ ගැවසෙන තැනක් නොවන නිසා මෙතන හරිම පාළු සහ නිදහස් ස්වභාවයක් ගන්නවා. ඉතා දිගු වෙරළ තීරයක් රන්වන් පැහැති වැලි සහ නිල් පැහැති මුහුදු ජලය මෙහි සුන්දරත්වය වැඩි කරනවා. වෙරළ දිගේ වැවී ඇති පොල් ගස් පේළිය නිසා මෙතනට ලැබෙන්නේ අපූරු සෙවණක්. නිදහසේ සොබාදහම විඳින්න කැමති අයට මෙය කියාපු තැනක්.

🚂 දුම්රියෙන්: කොළඹ කොටුවෙන් මාතර බලා ධාවනය වන දුම්රියක නැගලා කොග්ගල දුම්රිය ස්ථානයෙන් බහින්න පුළුවන්. මුහුද අයිනෙන් යන ලස්සන ගමනක්.

🚌 බස් රථයෙන්: ගාල්ල, මාතර හෝ කතරගම යන ඕනෑම බස් රථයක ඇවිත් කොග්ගලින් බහින්න පුළුවන්. අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ එනවා නම් ගාල්ලෙන් බැහැලා සාමාන්‍ය බස් රථයකින් විනාඩි 20-30කින් එන්න පුළුවන්.

🚗 වාහනයකින්: දක්ෂිණ අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ ඇවිත් පින්නදූව පිටවීමේ දොරටුවෙන් (Exit) එළියට ඇවිත් ගාල්ල පාර දිගේ කොග්ගලට එන්න පුළුවන්.

📌 සංචාරක අත්දැකීම

කොග්ගල වෙරළට එන අයට දැනෙන්නේ තමන් ස්වභාවධර්මය එක්ක තනි වුණා වගේ හැඟීමක්. වෙරළ තීරය පිරිසිදුයි වගේම පාළුයි. හවසට ඉර බැස යන දර්ශනය බලන් ඉන්න වෙරළේ ඇවිදින්න වගේම අවට තියෙන කුඩා අවන්හල් වලින් රසවත් මුහුදු ආහාර (Seafood) වේලක් රසවිඳින්නත් පුළුවන්. කාර්යබහුල ජීවිතයෙන් මිදිලා ඔලුව නිදහස් කරගන්න ඕන අයට මේක හොඳම තැනක්.

📌 වැදගත් උපදෙස් සහ ආරක්ෂාව

↔️දිය නෑම: කොග්ගල මුහුදේ රළ තරමක් සැර වෙන්න පුළුවන්. ඒ නිසා දිය නාද්දී ගොඩක් පරිස්සම් වෙන්න. රතු කොඩි දමා ඇති තැන්වලින් මුහුදට බහින්න එපා.

↔️ අව්වෙන් ආරක්ෂා වීම: දහවල් කාලයට අව්ව සැර නිසා අව් කණ්ණාඩි (Sunglasses) සහ තොප්පි පාවිච්චි කරන්න.

↔️ පහසුකම්: වෙරළ තීරයේ පොදු වැසිකිළි පහසුකම් අඩුයි. අවට ඇති හෝටල් හෝ අවන්හල් භාවිතා කිරීමට සිදුවෙනවා.

↔️ පරිසරය රැකගන්න: කරුණාකර ප්ලාස්ටික්, පොලිතින් වැනි දෑ වෙරළට දාන්න එපා. අපි මේ පරිසරය සතුන් වෙනුවෙන් රැකගන්න ඕනේ.
