Delta Falls, also known as Helboda Ella Falls, is a beautiful waterfall located in the Nuwara Eliya district of Sri Lanka. It is about 60 meters (around 197 feet) high. What makes it special is that it has six different levels, called cascades, where the water jumps down the rocks. It is found near the Pussellawa area, surrounded by misty hills and green tea bushes.
You should visit Delta Falls because it is one of the most scenic spots on the way to the hill country.

⚠️ Stay Safe: The rocks near the waterfall can be very slippery, especially when it is wet. Be very careful when walking.
⚠️ Best Timing: The waterfall looks its best during the rainy season when there is a lot of water.
⚠️ Leech Warning: If you walk into the grassy areas or tea bushes, keep an eye out for leeches!

ඩෙල්ටා ඇල්ල හෙවත් හෙල්බොඩ ඇල්ල යනු ශ්රී ලංකාවේ නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්රික්කයේ පිහිටා ඇති ඉතා සුන්දර දිය ඇල්ලකි. මෙහි උස මීටර් 60ක් (අඩි 197ක් පමණ) වේ. මෙම දිය ඇල්ලේ විශේෂත්වය වන්නේ මෙය පියගැට පෙළක් මෙන් කොටස් 6කින් (Cascades) පහළට ගලා හැලීමයි. පුස්සැල්ලාව ප්රදේශයට ආසන්නව, මීදුමෙන් වැසුණු කඳු සහ කොළ පැහැති තේ වතු මැදින් මෙය ගලා බසී.
නුවරඑළිය යන ගමනේදී මග දෙපස හමුවන සුන්දරම නැවතුම්පොළක් ලෙස මෙය හැඳින්විය හැකිය.
✅ ස්වාභාවික සුන්දරත්වය: මෙය සිතුවමක් වැනි ඉතා සාමකාමී ස්ථානයකි.
✅ ඡායාරූප ගැනීමට: සංචාරක ඡායාරූප ගැනීමට මෙය කදිම ස්ථානයකි.

↔️ නමේ පටලැවිල්ල: බොහෝ දෙනෙක් මෙයට නුදුරින් ඇති මීටර් 5ක් පමණ උසැති කුඩා දිය ඇල්ලක් වන “හෙල්බොඩ ඇල්ල” සමඟ මෙය පටලවා ගනිති. සැබෑ ඩෙල්ටා ඇල්ල යනු කොටස් කිහිපයකින් යුත් මෙම උස ඇල්ලයි.

🌟 අවට ඇවිදීම: පාලම අසල ඇවිදිමින් විවිධ කෝණවලින් දිය ඇල්ල නරඹන්න.
🚗 මාර්ගය: ගම්පොළ – නුවරඑළිය ප්රධාන මාර්ගයේ (A5 මහා මාර්ගය) මෙය පිහිටා ඇත.
📍 ස්ථානය: 41 වන කිලෝමීටර් කණුව අසල ඇති 41/5 දරන පාලම අසල මෙය පිහිටා ඇත.
🚌 බස් රථයෙන්: මහනුවර සිට නුවරඑළිය දක්වා ධාවනය වන ඕනෑම බස් රථයකින් මෙතැනට යා හැකිය.
ගලා හැලෙන වතුරේ රිද්මය සහ මීදුම මිශ්ර සිසිල් සුළඟ ඔබේ ගතට මෙන්ම සිතටත් මහත් සහනයක් ගෙන දෙයි. හරිත වර්ණයෙන් පිරි කඳු පන්ති මැද සිටින විට ලංකාවේ ස්වාභාවික සෞන්දර්යයේ අගය ඔබට හොඳින් දැනෙනු ඇත. එය ඔබේ මුළු ගමනටම අලුත් ජවයක් ලබා දෙන අත්දැකීමකි.
⚠️ පරෙස්සම් වන්න: දිය ඇල්ල අසල ඇති ගල් ඉතා ලිස්සන සුළුය. විශේෂයෙන් වැසි දිනවලදී ඇවිදීමේදී පරෙස්සම් වන්න.
⚠️ හොඳම කාලය: වැසි කාලයට පසුව දිය ඇල්ලේ වතුර වැඩි බැවින් එය වඩාත් ලස්සනට දැකගත හැකිය.
⚠️ කූඩැල්ලන්: තේ වතු හෝ තණකොළ සහිත ස්ථානවල ඇවිදින විට කූඩැල්ලන් ගැන අවධානයෙන් සිටින්න.
