Delta Falls is a breathtaking 60-meter waterfall, tumbling gracefully down six cascades over a rocky slope covered in lush greenery. Fed by a tributary of the Kotmale River, this waterfall is not only a scenic wonder but also an important part of Sri Lanka’s history.
🌱 First Tea Plantation Site: Delta Falls is believed to be the site of Sri Lanka’s first tea plantation, introduced by the Dutch and later owned by Rothschild Vomes. However, the plantation struggled and was ultimately unsuccessful.
