Olu Ella is a breathtaking waterfall located in the quiet village of Yatiyantota in the Kegalle District. Standing at about 127 meters high, it is often called the tallest waterfall in the Paanapitiya area. The falls get their name because the water looks like a white “Olu” (Water Lily) flower as it cascades down the rocks. It is unique because it flows under a historic wooden bridge, making it a very photogenic and peaceful spot for nature lovers.

කෑගල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ යටියන්තොට ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි ඕලු ඇල්ල ඉතාමත් සුන්දර දිය ඇල්ලකි. මෙහි උස මීටර් 127ක් පමණ වන අතර, පනාපිටිය ප්‍රදේශයේ දැකිය හැකි උසම දිය ඇල්ල ලෙස මෙය සැලකේ. දිය ඇල්ල කඩා හැලෙන විට දිස්වන සුදු පැහැය ‘ඕලු මලක’ පෙති විහිදී ඇති ආකාරයට සමාන නිසා මීට “ඕලු ඇල්ල” යන නම ලැබී ඇත. මෙහි ඇති විශේෂත්වය වන්නේ දිය ඇල්ල පාමුල ඇති පැරණි ලී පාලමයි. එය දිය ඇල්ලේ සුන්දරත්වය තවත් වැඩි කරයි.
