Mahakandura Ella Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Sri Lanka. It is about 120 meters (393 feet) tall. You can find it near a small town called Padiyapelella, which is in the Nuwara Eliya district. The water comes from a stream called Bodi Ella, which starts high up in the mountains. One special thing about this waterfall is that it flows right under the road! As the water falls down the rocks, it looks like a soft white curtain. It is not very famous, so it is often quiet and peaceful.

මහකඳුර ඇල්ල කියන්නේ නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ, පදියපැලැල්ල ප්‍රදේශයට ආසන්නව පිහිටි ඉතාමත් සුන්දර දිය ඇල්ලක්. මෙහි උස මීටර් 120ක් (අඩි 393ක්) පමණ වෙනවා. ඉහළ කඳුකරයේ පිහිටි කටුකැලේ වතුයායෙන් ආරම්භ වෙන ‘බෝධි ඇල්ල’ කියන දිය පහරෙන් තමයි මේ ඇල්ල නිර්මාණය වෙන්නේ. මෙහි ඇති විශේෂම දේ තමයි, මේ දිය ඇල්ල ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගය යටින් ගලාගෙන යාමයි (පාලමක් යටින්). ගල් පර්වත දිගේ පහලට වැටෙන වතුර හරියට සුදු පාට තිර රෙද්දක් වගේ හරිම ලස්සනට දිස්වෙනවා. මෙය එතරම් ජනප්‍රිය නොවූ, නමුත් අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම නැරඹිය යුතු සොඳුරු ස්ථානයක්.

🚗 මහනුවර සිට: මහනුවර ඉඳන් කිලෝමීටර් 43ක් විතර දුරයි. රිකිල්ලගස්කඩ හරහා පදියපැලැල්ල පැත්තට යන B39 පාරේ යන්න ඕන.

📍 පිහිටීම: රාගල – මහනුවර පාරේ 25 සහ 26 වන සැතපුම් කණු අතර තමයි මේක තියෙන්නේ. පාර දිය ඇල්ල හරහා දෙපාරක් වැටී තියෙනවා (Hairpin bend).
