Haritha Kanda (translated as “Green Mountain”) is located in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka, near Bogawantalawa in the Nuwara Eliya District. Although not widely featured in ancient texts or folklore, this mountain and its surrounding plains are steeped in colonial plantation history and traditional estate culture.
