Belilena Cave (Sinhala: 🏛️ කිතුල්ගල බෙලි ලෙන) is an important ancient site in Sri Lanka. It is found 8 km (5 miles) from Kitulgala town and is famous for its connection to Balangoda Man (🦴 Homo sapiens balangodensis). These early humans lived in Sri Lanka over 32,000 years ago.
Famous archaeologist 🔬 Paul E. P. Deraniyagala discovered the remains of 🔎 ten ancient people inside this cave. These early humans lived high up in Sri Lanka, even at 🏔️ 2,000 feet (609.6 meters) above sea level.
The cave has a 💧 small lake near its entrance, making it a beautiful but tricky place to explore. Visitors need 🧗 ropes or a rope ladder to go deeper inside. Between 📜 1978 and 1983, Sri Lankan archaeologists dug inside the cave and found 🦴 old tools, bones, and animal remains. Scientists tested these items and found they were between 📅 30,000 and 9,000 years old.

This cave helps scientists understand how 🧬 early humans lived, traveled, and built tools in Sri Lanka. The remains of 🦴 Balangoda Man have been carefully studied by experts to learn more about our past.
Belilena Cave is now a 🛡️ Protected Archaeological Reserve in Sri Lanka. Scientists are still studying it with 🔬 modern technology, and they hope to find more exciting discoveries.

බෙලිලෙන ගුහාව (සිංහල: 🏛️ කිතුල්ගල බෙලි ලෙන ) යනු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ වැදගත් පුරාණ ස්ථානයකි. එය කිතුල්ගල නගරයේ සිට කිලෝමීටර 8 (සැතපුම් 5) ක් දුරින් පිහිටා ඇති අතර බලන්ගොඩ මිනිසා ( 🦴 හෝමෝ සේපියන්ස් බැලන්ගොඩෙන්සිස් ) සමඟ ඇති සම්බන්ධය නිසා ප්‍රසිද්ධය . මෙම මුල් මිනිසුන් වසර 32,000 කට පෙර ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජීවත් වූහ .
පුරාවිද්‍යාඥ 🔬 පෝල් ඊ.පී. දැරණියගල විසින් මෙම ගුහාව තුළ පුරාණ මිනිසුන් දස දෙනෙකුගේ 🔎 දේහය සොයා ගන්නා ලදී . මෙම මුල් මිනිසුන් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ඉහළම ප්‍රදේශවල, මුහුදු මට්ටමේ සිට අඩි 2,000 (මීටර් 609.6) ක් උසින් පවා ජීවත් විය .
ගුහාවේ දොරටුව අසල 💧 කුඩා විලක් ඇති අතර , එය ගවේෂණය කිරීමට සුන්දර නමුත් උපක්‍රමශීලී ස්ථානයකි. අමුත්තන්ට ගැඹුරට යාමට 🧗 ලණු හෝ ලණු ඉණිමඟක් අවශ්‍ය වේ. 📜 1978 සහ 1983 අතර , ශ්‍රී ලාංකික පුරාවිද්‍යාඥයින් ගුහාව තුළ හාරා 🦴 පැරණි මෙවලම්, අස්ථි සහ සත්ව අවශේෂ සොයා ගත්හ . විද්‍යාඥයින් මෙම අයිතම පරීක්ෂා කළ අතර ඒවා 📅 අවුරුදු 30,000 ත් 9,000 ත් අතර පැරණි බව සොයා ගත්හ .

මෙම ගුහාව විද්‍යාඥයින්ට ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ මුල් මිනිසුන් ජීවත් වූ ආකාරය, ගමන් කළ ආකාරය සහ මෙවලම් තැනූ ආකාරය තේරුම් ගැනීමට උපකාරී වේ. 🦴 බලන්ගොඩ මිනිසාගේ නටබුන් අපගේ අතීතය පිළිබඳ වැඩිදුර ඉගෙන ගැනීම සඳහා විශේෂඥයින් විසින් ප්‍රවේශමෙන් අධ්‍යයනය කර ඇත.
