Ohiya Railway Station is the 67th station on the Main Line and is located in the Badulla District. Sitting at an elevation of about 1,774 meters (5,820 feet) above sea level, it is the third-highest railway station in Sri Lanka. It is a tiny, misty station surrounded by thick forests and green mountains. It serves as the main gateway for travelers going to the famous Horton Plains National Park.

🚗 By Road: You can drive from Nuwara Eliya or Haputale. The roads are narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

ඔහිය දුම්රිය ස්ථානය ලංකාවේ ප්‍රධාන දුම්රිය මාර්ගයේ 67 වැනි ස්ථානයයි. බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ පිහිටා ඇති මෙය මුහුදු මට්ටමේ සිට අඩි 5,820ක් (මීටර් 1,774) පමණ උසින් පිහිටා තිබෙනවා. ඒ අනුව මෙය ලංකාවේ තෙවැනි උසම දුම්රිය ස්ථානයයි. මීදුමෙන් වැසුණු කඳු සහ ඝන වනාන්තර මැද පිහිටි මේ පුංචි දුම්රිය ස්ථානය, හෝර්ටන් තැන්නට යන සංචාරකයින්ගේ ප්‍රධාන පිවිසුම් දොරටුවක් ලෙසද සැලකෙනවා.
