The Palace of Queen Kuweni consists of ancient stone ruins found deep within the thick forests of Wilpattu National Park. According to local legends, this was the home of Queen Kuweni, a princess of the Yaksha clan who helped the Indian Prince Vijaya establish the first kingdom in Sri Lanka. The site features old stone pillars and foundations that have survived for thousands of years, offering a peek into the island’s mythical past.

කුවේණි මාලිගය යනු ලංකාවේ විල්පත්තුව ජාතික වනෝද්යානය තුළ පිහිටා ඇති ඉතා පැරණි ඓතිහාසික ස්ථානයකි. මෙය ලංකාවේ පළමු රජු ලෙස සැලකෙන විජය රජුගේ බිසව වූ කුවේණිය ජීවත් වූ මාලිගය ලෙස ජනප්රවාදයේ විශ්වාස කෙරේ. අද වන විට මෙහි දැකිය හැක්කේ විශාල ගල් කුළුණු සහ පැරණි ගොඩනැගිලිවල නටබුන් කිහිපයක් පමණි.

✅ පුරාවිද්යාත්මක වටිනාකම: වසර දහස් ගණනක් පැරණි ගල් නිර්මාණ ඉතා සමීපව දැක බලා ගැනීමට හැකි වීම.

📍 පිහිටීම: විල්පත්තුව ජාතික වනෝද්යානයේ ප්රධාන ද්වාරයෙන් ඇතුළු වී කාලි විල්ලු ප්රදේශයට යන ලෙස රියදුරුට පැවසිය යුතුය.
