Wasgamuwa National Park

Wasgamuwa National Park is a beautiful nature park located in the Matale and Polonnaruwa districts of Sri Lanka. It covers about 39,000 hectares of land. The park is famous for being very wild and natural, with many different landscapes like big grasslands, thick forests, and wide rivers like the Mahaweli and Amban Ganga.

📍 From Kandy: Drive through Hasalaka and Hettipola. It takes about 3 hours.

🚪 Entrance Gates: The main entrance is at Handungamuwa. There is also another entrance at Kiri Oya.
